An old man and the land, by Edgar Pisani

Former Minister of Agriculture in France from 1961 to 1966, and then a MEP 1973-81 and a member of the European Commission (1981-84), Edgar Pisani publishes a book entitled "Un vieil homme et la terre" (An old man and the land), Ed. du Seuil.

Through this book, he wishes to stimulate a public debate on issues related to agriculture, a topic that is too often considered as a monopoly of experts and farmers unions.
