Press Conference in Cancun: Farmers from the North and South give their feelings about the WTO agriculture negotiations
In Cancun, on September 13th, farmers from Japan, the US, West Africa, Europe and Brazil, gathered in the NGOs room of Fiesta American Hotel to explain their views on the negotiations taking place in the neighbouring Convention Center.
They all agreed that the current approach is wrong, and supported the Declaration of Dakar as an alternative.
