Study and exchange trip on the future of family farming : Brazil/ Europe
Sugar, milk, cotton and meat have opposed Brazil and the European Union within the WTO without producers from both continents having had the possibility to exchange information on their real mutual conditions of production, on the necessity of public intervention, or on the advantages available to them…
To meet this need for dialogue and to better understand the situation of European farmers, a delegation of the Federation of Family Farming from Brazil (FETRAF) made up of 17 members (representatives of agricultural organizations but also three deputies and two representatives of co-operatives) did a study trip to Europe from the 29th of May until the 10th of June 2005 on the topic: The Future of Family Farming Brazil/Europe.
